Ultra Granulator for Recycling Plastic Plant
Areas of Application:
Ultra-granulators, type PANTHER are used in recycling operations for the production of valuable secondary raw materials. The feed material should be available in pieces in order to be metered into the machine. To the PANTHER it does not make any difference whether or not it is fed with electronic waste or waste tire chips. It does neither sneeze at used batteries and waste cables nor at PET bottle waste, Tetra-Pack or carpet waste. Anywhere where roughest conditions exist and where reliability is required, the PANTHER is found in action.
Method of Operation:
The Ultra-granulator, type PANTHER size reduces all cuttable material to a participle size smaller than 4 mm or if necessary coarser. Material is normally fed by means of a conveyor belt or vibratory feeder across the entire width of the machine. A real slant cut, reduces the energy required to a minimum during size reduction. Massive, angled rotor knives work with a very close tolerance cutting gap against opposing slanted counter knives. In the lower part of the housing, a well dimensioned screen is installed, which holds the cut material in the chamber until it is discharged through the screen holes. The material is then carried away from the machine by means of pneumatic suction system. The product can be stored in silos or big bags in accordance with the customer´s requirements.
Design:
This sturdy and compactly built machine is designed for the special requirements of modern recycling operations. Excellent accessibilty into the cutting chamber by means of large front doors. The upper machine housing is hydraulically opened. Rotor- and stator knives are adjusted in fixtures outside the machine and can be re-sharpend many times. The screen is reversible, for even usage of both sides. The massive flanged bearings are centered in the housing and the safety devices are in compliance with current machine builders directives.
